Born in 1957, Guaçuí, ES, Brazil. Lives in Cachoeiro Itapemerim ES, until 1978, when moves yourself to Rio de Janeiro. In 1991, graduated in Architecture and Urbanism by Federal Fluminense University (UFF), Niterói, RJ. Between 1988 and 1991 studied sculpture and printmaking with Harold and Ana Barroso Letícya at the Workshops of the Museum of Inga in Niterói, where starting from 1991, as interim coordinator of Sculpture Workshop until 1992. In 1993 receives scholarship from SAAB-Scania and ASEA Brown Bovery Konsthogskolan for an internship in Stockholm, Sweden, where shows the kinetic installations in Tengbom Hallen, Konstakademien. Between 1994 and 1998, collaborating with "Dune Group," in the poetics insertions at the archaeological site of the Great Dune of Itaipu in Niterói RJ. Between 1996 and 1998 developed the Urban Master Plan of the municipality of Ibitirama, ES. In 1999 participates with kinetic installations in the exhibition "Art Machines", ITAÚ Cultural Center in São Paulo, on this occasion have their work published in the Atlantic magazine, Spain. In 2001 completes a Masters in Art History - Area of ??concentration in Visual Languages, by Rio de Janeiro Federal University (UFRJ), where developed plastics and theoretical research. In 2002 works like curator of the "Space Frontier" theme, in the exhibition "Niterói Art Today" at MAC Niteroi. In 2002 exhibiting photos-object installed in the Maison de l'Amérique Latine in Paris and Brasilianisches Kulturinstitut in Deutschland in Berlin. Between 2000 and 2003, works like curatorial adviser to Lana Botelho Gallery in Rio de Janeiro. Between 2003 and 2004, works like director at History and Arts Museum, of the State of Rio de Janeiro (Inga Museum). In 2005, goes to teach in the Department of Visual Arts, at Arts Center of Federal University of Espirito Santo (UFES), Vitória, where he coordinated the course of Fine Arts between 2005 and 2006. In 2010, directs the Department of Visual Arts. In 2012 completes a Masters in Arts Production and Research by UGR. Currently is doing his Ph.D. in Languages ??and Poetics of Contemporary Art at the Granada University in Spain.
